Lauren Albrecht Murphy, MD is a Reproductive Fellow at Boston IVF and a native of East Lyme, Connecticut.
She graduated with honors from Trinity College, completed a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at the University of Connecticut, and received her medical degree school at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. While there, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and later received the Leonard Tow Humanism award.
Additionally, Lauren completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Cornell in Manhattan, where she was actively involved in a number of reproductive endocrinology research projects. She was selected to present an oral presentation at the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society in 2013 on her work involving failure to respond to GnRH agonist trigger.
She is an active candidate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the New England Fertility Society, Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
