After five heartbreaking miscarriages, we knew we needed to act quickly if we wanted to grow our family. We started IVF right away under the care of Dr. Nina Resetkova, who wasted no time diagnosing our situation and building a treatment plan that gave us hope.

Our first cycle ended in another miscarriage. The second cycle failed. Each time, we took a breath, leaned on each other, and tried again. On our third cycle, everything finally aligned, and that transfer gave us our miracle son, Mickey, born in March.

Next weekend, we will celebrate his transferversary, the day hope turned into life. We are endlessly grateful to Dr. Resetkova and nurse Marley for their compassion, guidance, and belief in us through every step of our journey at Boston IVF.

Me and my husband met in 2015 and quickly realized we were the missing links in each others lives. In 2017, Josh moved to MA to start our life together finally in one place. Through the years we have moved several times to different towns, exploring life together. In 2020 we had finally settled down and quickly realized our end goal was to have a family.

I stopped birth control after 15 years and came to realize that I failed to get a cycle each month. After 3 years of trying ourselves with no medical intervention, we finally reached out to Boston IVF to begin our journey. We met with our dr (who is amazing!) and began our testing; I was diagnosed with PCOS, which would explain my lack of a cycle and ovulation.

We had 4 rounds of IUI and our 4th stuck! On November 11th (11/11!!) we found out we were finally pregnant!! I can’t explain the feeling but it was the best day of my life (aside from his birth). I would highly recommend Boston IVF for anyone looking to grow their family.

We were not being “careful” for a few years and never had any “scares” so this started making us think about the potential of not being able to get pregnant on our own, but I ended up having major abdominal surgery due to an autoimmune issue. My surgeon told me upon waking that she noticed a-lot of scar tissue and knew how bad we wanted to have children, so she advised us to speak with my OBGYN and start testing for infertility due to these structural issues.

We ended up tracking my cycles with ovulation tests and trying for multiple months with no success. So we made an appointment with my OB to discuss our concerns. All my blood work, Hysterosalpingogram, and ultrasounds looked normal. My cycles were normal and I was ovulating every month, so my OB wanted to test my husband, and my husband’s testing was completely normal. They ended up telling me that my issue is structural and my eggs cannot make it down my tubes due to misalignment and my changes of getting pregnant on my own were almost zero.

We did not qualify for IUI due to the structural abnormalities so we went straight into IVF. We had one egg retrieval and ended with 10 embryos! Our little girl was our first FET and is now a healthy 12 week old baby girl named Calleigh.

Our journey to parenthood began with a clear understanding that IVF would be our only path forward, as my husband had a prior vasectomy and a reversal wasn’t an option. He underwent a surgical sperm retrieval, and we moved forward with IVF using ICSI.

From the moment we decided to pursue IVF, it took 2.5 years to get pregnant with our son. One of our biggest early hurdles was cost — we didn’t have insurance coverage for IVF, so we had to wait and save before moving forward. Then, just as we were ready, our doctor — Dr. Delaney — transitioned to Boston IVF. We waited again so we could follow her to her new practice. And once we finally started treatment, I developed OHSS, which meant we had to delay our transfer and wait two more months to proceed with a frozen transfer.

It felt like our journey was filled with waiting. The hardest part was staying emotionally grounded through it all — the waiting to begin, the waiting for results, and especially the two-week wait after our transfer.

Thankfully, we were successful on our first IVF cycle and had three viable embryos. We transferred one and got pregnant with our son, Liam.

My husband was my rock through it all. I didn’t have a wider support system or know anyone who had gone through IVF, but he never let me feel alone in the process.

Our experience at Boston IVF was incredible. Dr. Delaney was so thorough, thoughtful, and communicative — we always knew exactly what to expect, which made a world of difference.

Now, on the other side of IVF, pregnancy, and the NICU, it almost feels like a lifetime ago — like a blur that we somehow made it through. Liam is 5.5 months old, healthy, joyful, and endlessly curious. He has no developmental delays from his prematurity, and watching him grow has brought so much healing. Everytime I see his smile or hear his laugh, I’m reminded that all the waiting, hoping, and heartbreak were worth it a thousand times over. He is truly the light at the end of along tunnel.

Being diagnosed with PCOS at the young age of 15, I was always told “you are going to have trouble getting pregnant.” I thought nothing of it because motherhood was so far away.

Fast forward to actively trying, it became a reality. Many negative tests, lots of emotions and trying on our own for a little over a year my OB/gun recommended Boston IVF.

Dr. Berger was so welcoming and gave us that sense of hope. He said we were in the right place. We did our first egg retrieval which resulted in one good PGT-A embryo. We were devastated to go through all the work for the egg retrieval to only end up with one embryo, but nevertheless we persisted and did our frozen embryo transfers. Full of hope. It didn’t stick and Dr. Berger himself called me to deliver the news and to let me know things would be okay and we would go ahead with another cycle. If it wasn’t for his kind positive words, I don’t know what we would have done.

We prepared for another egg retrieval this time with a heavier dose with the medicines. We had a better outcome resulting in 5 good PGT-A tested embryos. We prepared for our next transfer. And the rest is history. We have our sweet little angel baby boy Bennett. Born in April 2025. Thank you to Dr. Berger and the wonderful team of nurses, doctors, ultra sound techs, and lab techs for making our dreams become a reality.

I met Dr. Dawkins when she worked for her previous employer and continued care through Boston IVF. She radiates warmth, hope, knowledge and compassion. Infertility is a hard road and she was there for us each step of the way.

My journey led me through multiple surgeries, IUI, and IVF. Dr. Dawkins advocated for us when we hit obstacles with insurance and was always there encouraging us along the way. As luck would have it, she performed my egg retrieval and was there to great me with a hug, reassurance and from that day, our one perfect embryo.

My pregnancy was not without risks, but led to our beautiful baby girl. She is literally a dream come true. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have met Dr. Dawkins and always felt like we were in the best hands. We will never be able to thank her enough for giving us the greatest gift of all.

We started fertility treatments after trying on our own for about a year without success met with Dr. Toth and his amazing team. We did 3 rounds of IUIs sadly unsuccessful. Then moved right on to IVF. We did two rounds of egg retrievals. First round, only had 2 healthy embryos, neither implanted, so we had to do another egg retrieval were we ended up having 7 embryos sent to get tested and 5 came back normal. Did a few procedures before transferring to make sure everything was good.

Transferred one embryo and it splits into identical twins. Sadly I had a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks. Waited a few months after that, again went in to check. My uterus had a few polyps, got them removed, tried again and transferred one embryo. Yay it implanted, but again ended up in a chemical pregnancy. After two months we got ready to try again for this transfer. I had no hope because my heart was already broken from the losses I had.

Us not knowing this baby was going to be the baby that would come and fill our hearts and souls and make us forget everything we went through to get here.

Our rainbow baby boy was born November 2024, healthy and strong. We couldn’t be more thankful to Dr Toth and the whole Boston IVF team.

In honor of National Infertility Awareness Week (#NIAW), we wanted to express our deep gratitude for Dr. Thornton and the entire BIVF team at the Waltham and Worcester, MA locations. I began my Boston IVF journey in 2022 with IUI's, the second of which was successful, but ultimately ended in an early miscarriage. Then we moved on to IVF with an egg retrieval and PGT-A testing. We ended up with two healthy embryos - one is still on ice and the other is our 15 month old daughter, Adelaide. Pregnancy after loss is not easy - and neither was a high risk pregnancy (hello 7 months of Hyperemesis Gravidarum) but little Addy makes it all worth it. We are so thankful she chose us as her parents.

I always imagined getting pregnant would be easy, so few people talk about the struggles they face when trying to conceive. In 2015 we started trying for our first child, after a year of trying, we scheduled an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist, little did we know that we would naturally conceive and receive a positive pregnancy test just days before our scheduled appointment and we welcomed our son that following February.

We started trying to conceive another child in 2019, however, life had other plans including job troubles as well as a global pandemic that threw a wrench into things. In April 2022, I found out I was pregnant again, although the joy of that was short-lived as I suffered a miscarriage in June. At that point, my OB/GYN suggested another appointment with a reproductive specialist, although the soonest we could receive an appointment was that January. I wish I could say the wait flew by, but the time seemed to drag on as we continued to try naturally with no success.

That January we were finally able to see  Dr. Dawkins at Baystate Reproductive and underwent 4 unsuccessful IUIs and we made the choice to move to IVF.  I began my medications for my egg retrieval that September, underwent my retrieval the middle of October and had my first transfer October 20. I remember being so excited to see that positive pregnancy test, and with each blood draw being more and more excited to see my hCG levels increase. Unfortunately, when we went for our first ultrasound, we were told the pregnancy was not viable, and I suffered a miscarriage on Thanksgiving day. Around that time, Baystate was transitioning to Boston IVF, which resulted in a slight delay as new referrals and new patient appointments had to be scheduled.

We were assigned Dr. Korkidakis who was just absolutely wonderful from our first meeting! After some additional testing, we were able to transfer 1 of our 3 remaining frozen embryos on March 31, Easter Sunday. This time I was certainly more guarded despite rising hCG levels and multiple positive pregnancy tests, especially when I went from having multiple full-blown pregnancy symptoms to nothing just a week before my first ultrasound. I remember sitting in the waiting room at BIVF in Springfield crying because I was certain that the pregnancy was not viable, thankfully my favorite ultrasound technician who had been with me through multiple appointments over that year, Anna, was the one doing my ultrasound that day. When she showed me the screen of our little jellybean with its flickering heartbeat, my tears intensified, but this time they were tears of unbelievable happiness.

Thankfully, that little jellybean continued to grow and flourish, and we welcomed our daughter, Alexis, December 8. I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for my original team at Baystate, most who made the transition to BIVF in Springfield (Dr. Dawkins, Anna, Elena, Paige, and so many more!), as well Dr Korkidakis for helping us complete our family. Thank you!

After trying to naturally conceive for about a year, we were referred to Boston IVF. We decided to go ahead with IVF 9 months after receiving our diagnosis and the first round was a success! Our team made everything go so smoothly, we still laugh about how much fun we had when our nurse was playing music during our transfer. The
good news was given to us on our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t believe it, all the tests, injections and early morning blood draws were all worth it. We can’t thank our doctors and nurses enough that made our little family possible.

Leading up to our wedding in April 2023, I expected that Tom and I would need some form of medical intervention due to my history of fibroids. After eight months of trying naturally, my GYN told me that my fibroids were clearly the issue and advised me to stop trying to get pregnant because “not everyone is meant to be a mother.”

This, of course, ignited a fire in me to understand what was happening with my body and to find a team that would truly support us. I was quickly connected with my Boston IVF doctor and his amazing team in Waltham, including research nurse Sara M. Our doctor quickly reassured me that we would figure this out and that Tom and I would become parents one day soon.

After comprehensive testing and multiple hysteroscopies to remove the fibroids, we completed a round of IVF with egg retrieval last March. Our frozen embryo transfer (FET) was in July, and our very first little embryo stuck! Cole Thomas joined us on March 11, and our hearts feel so complete. We are forever grateful to the team at Boston IVF for making our dreams come true.

We were fortunate to find Boston IVF the Syracuse location after not having the greatest experience at another place. We got the privilege to work with Dr. Klein and his amazing team. Klein was the absolute best he showed compassion, understanding and determination. He never gave up and reassured us that we will figure it out. We felt very comfortable and confident at Boston IVF and it definitely paid off we had a successful transfer in January of 2024 and now have our perfect miracle baby!
