After 1.5 years of infertility we were referred to Boston IVF. We soon found out I did have a partially blocked fallopian tube due to scar tissue. We quickly jumped into 3 IUI’s and unfortunately had no success. Due to lack of insurance coverage we did have to make the hard decision to step away from further treatment at that time. 1 year later we were thrilled to find out the state of Maine passed a law to require insurances to provide some IVF coverage.

We eagerly contacted Dr. Wrights office in Bedford, NH, ready to move forward with IVF. In the most capable hands we then had another 9 months of getting medications on track before our first cycle. Painfully our first round, did not result in a pregnancy.

With the reassurance of Dr. Wright, we jumped into a second cycle to find out we were pregnant after a long 4 years of trying. On November 1st, 2025 we welcomed our dream girl, Blair Banks. There will never be enough thanks to Dr. Wright and the entire team at the Bedford, NH location.

In February of 2024, we found out that we were expecting. Unfortunately, the pregnancy was found to be ectopic and resulted in Katey’s left fallopian tube rupturing, requiring a surgical procedure and ending in a left salpingectomy. Much to our surprise, we found out that we were pregnant again in June of 2024. That pregnancy was also found to be ectopic and resulted in another emergency surgery for Katey to remove her right fallopian tube. Losing the ability to conceive on our own was devastating for us.

Our OBGYN referred us to Boston IVF, where we were hopeful that one day our rainbow baby would join our world. We opted into doing a freeze all cycle. This included an egg retrieval which gave us 3 beautiful embryos. In March of 2025, we had our first transfer. We remained optimistic, with the help of Dr. Lannon and his team routing us on. The nurses at Boston IVF the day of the retrieval and frozen embryo transfer were so positive and encouraging to us and gave us so much hope in a cautiously optimistic way that we felt supported throughout the journey.

We found out that we were pregnant at our first beta test and were over the moon. All of the medications, hope, and optimism from family, friends, and each other had worked! We welcomed our rainbow baby girl, Adelyn, in November of 2025 and she is the most perfect addition to our family! We can’t thank the team at Boston IVF enough for helping to give us the best gift that we could ever receive.

Despite how common it is, the stigma around infertility is still prevalent.

One of the hardest things I’ve ever faced was being brave enough to say I wanted a family, only to be told I might not be able to have one. With our diagnosis, a baby was not a guarantee. The waiting, the uncertainty, the heartbreak was heavier than I could have imagined in those months. IVF wasn’t just needles and procedures, it was the shift from saying “when we have a baby” to “if,” tucking away the baby onesie we once bought with hope, and learning to smile through innocent questions when I wanted to cry.

Through this journey, we learned resilience, patience, and how to sit with the unknown. Tim and I became stronger partners, better advocates for ourselves, and—though this path wasn’t the one we envisioned—more grateful for the science, the care, and the support that carried us here.

Was IVF hard? Mentally, yes. Physically, surprisingly, no. Surgeries, 100 days of shots, and 50 trips to our clinic were the easy part. We are the lucky ones. Lucky to see a positive test a year after our diagnosis. Lucky to have amazing insurance, access to care, and a circle of family and friends who supported us. Lucky to be stepping into parenthood with a depth of love and grit that only this journey could have given us.

Despite an unsuccessful cycle and a devastating early loss, we never gave up hope. As a friend reminded me, it was our tenacity and positivity that helped us achieve a successful outcome.

After years of trying to conceive and experiencing the heartbreak of a chemical pregnancy, my husband and I decided it was time to seek help. We met with Dr. Delaney, who was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough in answering all of our questions.

We soon learned that my uterus was blocked with polyps and that surgery was necessary. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and we moved forward with IUI treatment. After three unsuccessful IUIs, we knew it was time to take the next step and pursue IVF. While the unknown was scary, it was also filled with hope. I knew we had an amazing team supporting us every step of the way.

From the nurses and ultrasound technicians to the patient navigator, financial coordinator, and phlebotomist, every single person made us feel supported and informed. I never left an appointment feeling confused or overwhelmed.

On December 30, 2025, our dream came true when we welcomed our healthy, beautiful baby boy, Christopher. We are forever grateful to Boston IVF for helping make our dream of becoming parents a reality.

Devon and I have been together since our sophomore year of high school, in 2013. After getting married in 2021, we “stopped preventing” pregnancy and assumed we’d get pregnant quickly. When that didn’t work, we actively started trying in 2022. We tracked ovulation, hormone levels, and each took supplements. I’m the spring of 2024, I reached out to BostonIVF in hopes of an answer.

Unfortunately we didn’t really get an answer and were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. It seemed like all of our friends and family were having children and we were being left behind. Dr. Korkidakis’s team was so helpful and supportive as we decided to pursue IVF.

We were very lucky in that we got pregnant our first transfer. Our first appointment with Dr. Korkidakis was July 2024 and our embryo transfer was January 2025.

My husband and I spent over a year trying to get pregnant on our own before turning to fertility treatments. We completed three rounds of IUI at Baystate and had success on our last try. Unfortunately, it resulted in a miscarriage just a few weeks in.

Our next step was IVF. During this time, Baystate Reproductive was acquired by Boston IVF, which felt like an answered prayer. On our second round of IVF, we got pregnant, but eight weeks in, we miscarried again.

Dr. Korkidakis worked with us through every cycle. She tried different selection processes, eventually moving us to ICSI for our fourth round, but that was unsuccessful. She then pushed for genetic screening, just in case there was an underlying factor—and she couldn’t have been more right. I was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder that made it difficult to carry a pregnancy to term. Without Dr. K’s guidance, we would have never gotten the testing done.

On our fifth IVF cycle, she again tried a different selection process—PICSI. Combined with a daily blood thinner, it did the trick. Our last round worked.

After more than three years of fertility treatments, three IUI cycles, five IVF cycles, two miscarriages, hundreds of injections, and many tearful nights, it was all worth it. We have a beautiful baby girl who is now four months old.

Thank you to Dr. Korkidakis and the entire Boston IVF team. We literally couldn’t have done it without you.

This is our story.

My husband and I decided it was time to build our family, and so we started trying for a baby. I stopped taking birth control pills. We tried for 2 years naturally, which resulted in a lot of emotions and negative pregnancy tests. Then I talked with my OB/GYN, and my husband and I stared to do so many exams that were provided by my doctor. We were both healthy, the only thing was my husband's sperm didn’t have the tail to travel, so we just needed a little push. My OB/GYN recommended Boston IVF; an amazing team that would talk and walk us through our journey towards building a family. She told me that this great team would be able to help us.

I don't know if I can even come up with the words to describe the experience my husband and I had with Boston IVF. We had to choose between IUI and IVF, so we chose IVF which was the fastest path for us to start our family. Dealing with infertility is a scary and unknown path that can be isolating for the many couples who face it. From the very first call that we made, not knowing what questions to ask or how to get the process started, until we finally achieved our dream of becoming pregnant, with my second transfer, we had the full support from a highly educated team of providers.

Our baby boy has arrived to bright our rainy days, our miracle Nolan. This year of 2026, our miracle baby boy will be turning 1! We will definitely continue to choose Boston IVF to help us grow our family more.

After 2 years trying to have a baby and experiencing failed cycles at another clinic, I heard about Boston IVF. I made my appointment, and I remember being a little nervous but the whole team was very kind and informative. The day of my transfer I was sad and emotional. One of the nurses when leaving said to me “I hope not to see you again for 9 months" and those words made me cry. Today I am so grateful to the whole team because my miracle will be 11 months old! Thank you for making it possible and for your support. God bless you and allow you to continue fulfilling the dream of every couple to be parents

Shortly after we got married in 2018, we tried for several months to get pregnant. In 2021 after loosing a significant amount of weight, we experienced the heartbreak of back to back miscarriages followed by 2 failed IUIs. In February 2022 after many years of heartache, my husband and I were referred to Boston IVF and had our first meeting with Dr. Lannon.

From the beginning, Dr. Lannon and the amazing team at the South Portland office put our nerves at ease and were available to answer any questions we had. After 2 rounds of egg retrievals, we transferred our lucky embryo on October 4th and 2 weeks later, we found out we were pregnant with our miracle. Each year we celebrate October 4th as Happy Colin day in our family.

After five heartbreaking miscarriages, we knew we needed to act quickly if we wanted to grow our family. We started IVF right away under the care of Dr. Nina Resetkova, who wasted no time diagnosing our situation and building a treatment plan that gave us hope.

Our first cycle ended in another miscarriage. The second cycle failed. Each time, we took a breath, leaned on each other, and tried again. On our third cycle, everything finally aligned, and that transfer gave us our miracle son, Mickey, born in March.

Next weekend, we will celebrate his transferversary, the day hope turned into life. We are endlessly grateful to Dr. Resetkova and nurse Marley for their compassion, guidance, and belief in us through every step of our journey at Boston IVF.

Me and my husband met in 2015 and quickly realized we were the missing links in each others lives. In 2017, Josh moved to MA to start our life together finally in one place. Through the years we have moved several times to different towns, exploring life together. In 2020 we had finally settled down and quickly realized our end goal was to have a family.

I stopped birth control after 15 years and came to realize that I failed to get a cycle each month. After 3 years of trying ourselves with no medical intervention, we finally reached out to Boston IVF to begin our journey. We met with our dr (who is amazing!) and began our testing; I was diagnosed with PCOS, which would explain my lack of a cycle and ovulation.

We had 4 rounds of IUI and our 4th stuck! On November 11th (11/11!!) we found out we were finally pregnant!! I can’t explain the feeling but it was the best day of my life (aside from his birth). I would highly recommend Boston IVF for anyone looking to grow their family.
