After trying to naturally conceive for about a year, we were referred to Boston IVF. We decided to go ahead with IVF 9 months after receiving our diagnosis and the first round was a success! Our team made everything go so smoothly, we still laugh about how much fun we had when our nurse was playing music during our transfer. The
good news was given to us on our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t believe it, all the tests, injections and early morning blood draws were all worth it. We can’t thank our doctors and nurses enough that made our little family possible.
HOW DID YOUR BOSTON IVF PHYSICIAN AND NURSING TEAM HELP TO MAKE YOUR JOURNEY A SUCCESS?
I wish I remembered our nurses name, but they were all amazing!
WHAT WERE SOME HIGHS OR LOWS OF YOUR TREATMENT(S)? WHAT IS UNIQUE/DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR STORY?
My shipment of medication refill went missing on a truck somewhere on a weekend and a very helpful nurse helped me track down what I would have needed to get me to the next day. In hindsight we were able to laugh about it, but the anxiety of possibly missing an injection was terrifying
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHER STRUGGLING WITH INFERTILITY?
We had to remind ourselves that starting a family looks a little different for some people and staying positive is important. It wasn’t always easy but it was definitely always worth it
