We started fertility treatments after trying on our own for about a year without success met with Dr. Toth and his amazing team. We did 3 rounds of IUIs sadly unsuccessful. Then moved right on to IVF. We did two rounds of egg retrievals. First round, only had 2 healthy embryos, neither implanted, so we had to do another egg retrieval were we ended up having 7 embryos sent to get tested and 5 came back normal. Did a few procedures before transferring to make sure everything was good.

Transferred one embryo and it splits into identical twins. Sadly I had a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks. Waited a few months after that, again went in to check. My uterus had a few polyps, got them removed, tried again and transferred one embryo. Yay it implanted, but again ended up in a chemical pregnancy. After two months we got ready to try again for this transfer. I had no hope because my heart was already broken from the losses I had.

Us not knowing this baby was going to be the baby that would come and fill our hearts and souls and make us forget everything we went through to get here.

Our rainbow baby boy was born November 2024, healthy and strong. We couldn’t be more thankful to Dr Toth and the whole Boston IVF team.
