MD Q&A

Have Any Patients Truly Inspired You?
Every day I am inspired by my patients’ resilience and perseverance. Most of them face the challenges of infertility with strength and determination, undergoing numerous diagnostic tests, treatments, and setbacks with unwavering hope. Even when faced with many challenges, they find ways to maintain hope, pursue their dreams of parenthood, and often discover a new sense of purpose in their journey. Sharing their experiences, including difficult moments and all the ups and downs of this emotional rollercoaster, shows a willingness to be vulnerable and connect with others on a deeper level. I truly admire my patient’s emotional strength.

What is Your Favorite Part of Working as a Fertility Specialist?
There are many things I enjoy doing as part of my work/daily life as a fertility specialist:

  • Helping people overcome difficulties in their fertility journey and helping them start a family and becoming parents. Seeing a positive pregnancy test or meeting a baby born as a result of my work is very rewarding and fulfilling.
  • Building close relationships with my patients.
  • Utilizing cutting-edge technology and advancements: the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is constantly evolving and ever-changing. I am passionate about using these advancements to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Every day, I enjoy listening to, sharing, counseling, guiding and developing a partnership with my patients throughout their unique journey. My goal is to advocate for each of my patients, empower them with knowledge about their reproductive potential and options, help them regain control of their reproductive health, and instill confidence in the experience and support that myself and my Boston IVF team can provide.
“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

What Interests you About Research?
Intellectual stimulation and continuous learning: the field of REI offers continuous learning opportunities due to the field's rapid evolution and the need to manage complex medical cases. Fertility research is a dynamic and evolving field with the potential to make a significant positive impact on people's lives. The intersection of scientific advancements, individualized patient care, and ethical discussions shape this field.

How Do You Spend Your Free Time?
I love traveling, spending time with my family, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and spinning my Peloton bike.

How Would You Describe Your Personality?
Very vibrant, friendly, outgoing, caring, compassionate, strong communication skills, and a strong commitment to taking great care of my patients, and lifelong learning.
