Jaimin S. Shah, MD, is a Clinical Fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Boston IVF.
Dr. Shah is a valuable member of the Boston IVF physician team, where he routinely performs IVF retrievals and other procedures that are integral to a patient’s success.
Dr. Shah graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a major in Kinesiology – Sports Medicine and a minor in Business. He was also a collegiate athlete during his time at Rice University. He completed his medical degree at the McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas and continued his four-year residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the McGovern Medical School where he was very active in multiple research projects in women’s health, pregnancy outcomes, infertility, fertility preservation, and gynecologic cancer. He has published over 12 manuscripts in high impact peer-reviewed journals during his residency training. His research was selected for numerous oral and poster presentations in many national conferences including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, Society of Gynecologic Oncology, and Western Association for Gynecologic Oncologists.
Dr. Shah’s current research interests include embryo selection and quality, fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy, pregnancy outcomes, mental health, and male factor infertility.
Dr. Shah is an active candidate for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the New England Fertility Society, Pacific Coast Reproductive Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Massachusetts Medical Society.
In his spare time, Jaimin enjoys travel, football, cooking and music.
