Embryo Donation

When couples go through infertility treatments such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) often there are an excess of fertilized eggs (embryos) that are frozen and stored for later use. When the genetic  or biological parents decide that their family is complete and frozen embryos remain, there are a number of options available to them. One of these options is donating their frozen embryos to individuals or couples hoping to become pregnant via third party reproduction.

Boston IVF's embryo donation program provides the opportunity to assist individuals and couples looking to start or add to their own family via the use of donated embryos.

Using embryo donation may be the right way to build your family if:

  • You and/or your partner are infertile
  • You and/or your partner are concerned or at a high risk of passing on genetic disorders to your potential offspring
  • You and/or your partner have had recurrent IVF failures
  • You and/or your partner are looking for an alternative to fertility treatments such as IVF or donor egg recipient IVF
  • You and/or your partner are looking for an alternative to adoption
