Donor Egg

 

ImageDonor Egg is a very successful option for building a family because it has higher success rates than IVF cycles using a woman’s own eggs. Building a family via Donor Egg allows for strong biological and developmental relationships -- as donor eggs are fertilized with the male partner’s sperm, matured to an early embryonic stage and then placed in the female partner’s uterus, providing her the same gestational experience as natural conception.

The donor egg program is one of the more successful treatments in infertility and in-vitro fertilization. The primary reason is that  the eggs are collected from young donors who are carefully screened to assure safe and successful treatement.

Donor eggs are recommended for:

  • Age related infertility 
  • Hormonal irregularities that inhibit normal egg production 
  • Eggs that are unsuitable as a result of genetic disease 
  • Have healthy ovaries and a regular menstrual cycle but do not respond well to fertility medications 
  • Have not become pregnant with other assisted reproductive technologies for a significant period of time
  • Gay couple family building
